–Wisdom Seeds–

A Ritual Practice

I greet you with the offering of this ritual practice
that it may gently guide you towards your own embodied wisdom.

Wisdom Seeds Ritual Practice was conceived and birthed from a vision that saw all women remembering the beauty and power of our innate, embodied wisdom.

The practice offers an experiential pathway towards remembrance.  We use the creative power of prayer as our vehicle of intention to tune in to the subtle qualities within our earthen body. When we are more deeply connected with ourselves, we sense the spirit of life in all and come to know our interweaving with the whole.

Through the workings of focused attention, visualisation and sacred oil, we journey into our innermost world. Here we listen, feel and remember, nurture our body and water our own seeds of inner wisdom.

Through cultivating these seeds of wisdom, we begin to open to an increasingly intuitive way of knowing, sensing, being and dreaming.

As we come to this practice each day, we enter into a more loving relationship with our whole selves and with all that is life. We begin to sense with our whole body and hear with our inner ear. With deep listening we come to know, trust and embody our own innate wisdom which has always dwelt within us.

Wisdom Seeds Gatherings

Good women come gather for we are being called to the Wisdom Way

Wisdom Seeds gatherings offer an intimate and supportive space where women come together around the hearth to journey, to rediscover and ignite, to reshape and create, to dive deep then resurface.

Our day unfolds with a series of gentle yet powerful rituals that prepare us as we enter into Wisdom Seeds Ritual Practice. Each ritual builds upon the next, instilling presence, reverence and purpose as we reflect, inquire, ground and tune in, before we begin to work with the Wisdom Seeds Cards.

Wisdom Seeds gatherings are held once a month in the beautiful Huon Valley, Tasmania. They are also offered on request Australia wide.

May we Remember the Way

Healing Fire Ritual

May the fire within purify that which burdens my heart, my mind
my body, soul and spheres; transforming it into the light of love

Fire has always been used in ritual as a symbol for transformation.  The alchemical element of fire transmutes that which once was, into something entirely new. Reshaping the dense into the subtle, fire connects the earthly realms with the spiritual.

Fire ritual invokes healing qualities that purify and cleanse, helping us to release old patterns and limiting beliefs. Firelight and warmth gives comfort and clarity, illuminating that which needs to be seen and understood. The pure elemental force of fire may cleanse the body, mind and spirit of impurities, thereby creating a space for healing and transformation.

Together we speak from the heart. Bearing witness and holding intention for each other as we offer up to the fire that which no longer serves and welcome in the new.

Visualisation

The eye of imagination is a gift of creation

Visualisation is a gentle yet powerful mind-body practice.  We create with our inner eye of imagination, engaging all of our senses through awareness and intention.

We focus on guided imagery and connect with the minds power to enhance that which we wish to create.

In our practice we use the art of visualisation to assist us as we journey inwardly and attune to the whispers of the sacred.

Creating a Votive Offering

Earthen votive of intention symbol of my calling
body and spirit communing in this gentle unfolding

Votive offerings have been used in many cultures since ancient times. These small sculptures, usually made of terracotta or bronze, acted as a form of communication between the person and the divine. Offerings were commonly made at temples and sanctuaries where they were placed on an alter or shrine and were often dedicated to the gods of health and healing.

We work with intentional art, symbology and clay to craft a small votive offering. Our clay votive symbolises the essence of that which we wish to call to life within ourselves. It will act as a form of communication between ourselves and our inner divinity, between our earthen body soul and spirit.

Wisdom Seeds Ritual Practice

Breathe deeply
rest your mind
welcome stillness
to yourself be kind
take a card … draw within
feel its wisdom words … begin
hold the first bead with gentle hand
repeat the words given as you move around the strand
a prayer repeated takes root in the soul
with a seed held and nourished
a wise way will unfold

Together we commence Wisdom Seeds Ritual Practice with the first card of the deck.

There are 30 cards, each holding a seed of insight and an accompanying prayer, one for each day of the ritual practice.

With heartfelt focus, we speak aloud the seeds of insight together. Collectively we call forth the energy of the prayer as we open to its essence. Our prayer becomes embodied through our felt connection with the seed prayer beads.

With repetition of prayer, both spoken, felt and carried on the wings of intention, we cultivate our seeds of inner wisdom.

Self -reflection is a pathway to transformation. When we are willing to look deeply, and listen intently with kindness and care, with the courage to be truly honest, we are taking an important step towards healing.

We come to the workbook after we have completed our ritual with the Wisdom Seeds Cards. The workbook offers a place for reflection and inquiry, questions to ponder then answer from the heart.

We Sing Together

“In this great turning we shall learn to lead in love” Ma Muse

When we join our voices and sing from our heart with pure intention and love, we collectively generate a potent and powerful energy that has the potential to lift our spirit and generate positive change.

We close our ritual by singing together the beautiful anthem We Shall Be Known by MaMuse. A song of goodness, power and connection. This is not about singing with perfection, it is about the power of unity and intent.

Testimonials

“I had the pleasure of attending one of Cath’s Wisdom Seeds Gatherings in March this year. What she has created is truly unique and masterfully put together. It is profound. Deep, beautiful, insightful and inspiring. There are miracles awaiting you. It’s a simple practice, one you can easily find time for in your busy days. And one that will continue to unfold its blessings as the days and months go on. A chance to stop and pause and inquire. And in the inquiry are your answers, clues, ways of moving forward. Cath has brought all of her wisdom and understanding and love of beauty to this. I highly recommend such a unique experience – you won’t find this anywhere else.
Deeply grateful”

“I am loving my morning ritual with Wisdom Seeds. I feel so nourished by all that I read and affirm.  I feel clarity and strength on my path.  Each morning I settle in, quietly readying myself with sandalwood oil, candle, my votive offering and seed prayer beads.  I feel a strong reverence (and surprise!) for the way this practice has me coming home to myself.  I am owning myself in new ways.  I feel especially solid with the sky, clouds, birds and trees bearing witness to the new way I start my day.

Cath, what a profound gift you have in creating Wisdom Seeds. Your focus, purposeful delivery and curated beauty enriched me…thank you.
And thank you for the honesty and comfort we were able to share with
one another on the day.”

Colleen Cassar - Artist/Designer. Rye, VIC

“Let me start with Cath. It is extraordinary to meet a person who is pure love and compassion. Cath is the real deal. Her Wisdom Seeds Ritual Cards, workbook and sessions are filled with years of learned, listened knowing. To let go of the chaos and feel a deep inner peace, trust and connection. This is an essential education for the heart. Thus, a true gift for yourself. You’ll love it.”

Julie Williams - Natural Body Mechanics. Blackmans Bay, TAS

“There was something beautiful about the time in the countryside, immersed in a sense of kindness, grace, humour and natures connection to humility and peace.

A time to work with clay, scent of sandalwood, seeds of intention, healing words and a gentle workshop that had been created through love and spirit.

I found it a pleasure each day for the month following, to have time for stillness and intentions. Long may it continue. Thanks Cath ❤️

Dr Linda Wilson - Women’s Health. Hobart, TAS

“My experience with Cath and her Wisdom Seeds Ritual Practice was exquisite. Cath’s loving attention to every detail of this day was obvious and a real pleasure to receive. Following on in my own time with her ritual cards has been a gift of light to my world.

I highly recommend Cath and this divine offering.”

Bridget White - Intuitive Healer & Holistic Health Coach. Kingston, TAS

I’m so enjoying Wisdom Seeds Ritual Practice. The inquiry … questions that I may not ask myself and the Sacred pausing and reading the insight and prayer cards each day. I find them to be reminders to touch the earth with bare feet and look at something differently. I also just love the beauty of the colours, the beads themselves slowly being imbued with wisdom and the delicious sandalwood aroma nourishing my mornings. A work of the heart.

Thank you and love xx”
